A fantastic villa with stunning views
We really enjoyed our relaxing stay at lovely Villa Franca. We particularly loved the pool and outside space with various different areas to use, all with beautiful views. The entire villa was clean inside and out and is very well equipped. It is also well situated with a small supermarket, a couple of restaurants (Il Sagittario do good pizza, including takeaway in the evening and the staff are very friendly). A beautiful beach with other beaches a short drive away. Villasimius is about 20 minutes by car and the marina, beaches and town well worth a visit, there are also larger supermarkets there. Communication with Kim was excellent from booking onwards and we had a warm welcome from Francesco who gave recommendations and was on hand throughout our stay should we have any questions or problems. We would love to return one day and certainly recommend this villa, thank you Kim, David and Francesco

Amazing!
We have recently returned from the villa and have to say it is beautiful. Kim was really helpful right from the point of booking to just before we left. The villa is really well equipped and has so much space - both inside and out. The pool area and garden are a delight. You will definitely want to explore all the beautiful beaches.

The Perfect Villa Holiday
Description & Photos of the villa Provided are completely accurate Property & surrounds spotlessly clean The Infinity Swimming Pool was amazing - the pictures do not do it justice All ensuite rooms means you get the best of both worlds - Hotel & Villa Holiday Kim, the owner & Francesco "local property manager"provided the best possible service from Booking to the time of departing for home. Excellent Beaches & scenery & the bars & restaurants in the village were casual & great value Try 2 restaurants in the near by Village of Solanas - Il Veliero (casual with excellent Staff) & Da Barbara slightly more formal but still very reasonably priced - Supplies House wine from its own Winery which is excellent Would 100% recommend booking this Villa & would love to return soon.

Our party of 5 adults enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing weeks holiday at Villa Franca. We have previously booked villa holidays with companies such as Simpson's and while you have to book your own flights and car, Villa Franca is just as good. Positioned up a hillside track, the villa enjoys superb views of the near by bay and across to Cagliari. The infinity pool is large and beautifully clean, perfect for whiling away the time bobbing on a li-low in the sun. The villa is private and not overlooked. It's quite rustic in design, but with all mod-cons including air conditioning (which we didn't use as the shutters kept the bedrooms cool), dishwasher etc. The bedrooms are all large and comfortable with their own high quality bathrooms. Francesco is the local contact who is very helpful and who speaks very good English. There are many excellent restaurants pretty close by and also I believe nice sandy beaches, although we couldn't bring ourselves to leave the pool and its views. For added fun, try making your own pizza's in the villa's pizza oven. Everyone had a role from dough making to fire chief and the results were excellent. Do yourself a favour and book into Villa Franca. You really won't regret it!

Our family of six had an idyllic, relaxing stay at this beautiful villa. The fabulous large infinity pool kept calling to us, but we did venture out to a couple of lovely beaches just down the coast. Francesco was very attentive and helpful throughout our 2 week stay. I would love to return to this place in paradise at some time in the future and thoroughly recommend it for a relaxing vacation.

We have recently returned from 10 days in Sardinia, a week of which was spent at Villa Franca. Having booked private villas most years for holidays we always carefully read the descriptions and hope that everything meets our expectations. Villa Franca did exactly that. From the flexibility of our arrival, where we were met by Francesco, we knew this was the right choice. Its always great to know there is someone local to call on if you really need them. (In fact the only thing we needed was a cork screw - which had gone missing!) Each bedroom has it's own bathroom which is unexpected but useful. Despite the very hot weather we only turned on the aircon once as the villa stays beautifully cool. The huge kitchens (yes plural) are very well equipped, with useful plastic glasses etc for outdoors. Everything was spotless. The photos on here do not do the outside area justice. It is huge and the pool is much larger than most - and then there's the view to the sea and the little white boats. There is a completely covered area to the side of the house, lit up with little fairy lights at night, which is sheltered and cool in the day and cosy at night. To be honest we were rarely inside. Its an easy distance to get to from the airport, although we chose to spend a few days in Cagliari first. Villa Franca was a cool and peaceful retreat afterwards. In the vicinty of the villa there are so many stunning beaches. We chose Solanas (turn left out of the little lane) as it had umbrellas and sunbeds to hire, and the locals were really friendly. Also make a trip to Villasimius and further up the east coast where the coast road is stunning and the beaches just amazing. We recommend Da Barbara (so does everyone else) but also La Vela in the marina at Villasimius - Tuna and smoked swordfish carpaccio. And if you are in Cagliari try Antica in Rue Sardegna - great food. The supermarket that is recommended in Torre was fab, when they realised we were English we were given more wine to try, local salsicche etc. In fact there were few Brits there which was also really quite nice. On top of this Kim was so helpful beforehand that I was confident all would be well. And with Francesco there to help locally, it was far better organised than some of the high end luxury villa package companies out there. All very reassuring. Would I recommend the Villa - yes but not too loudly in case it's not available for us again when we want it

We had an amazing 2 week stay at Villa Franca. The villa is cool, spacious and well appointed & we loved the traditional style. The main attraction is the beautiful private garden with the stunning views. The pool is large & kept spotlessly clean - we loved watching the swifts dip in the pool in the afternoons. Everything contributing to the complete relaxation that this villa offers.
There are a couple of good supermarkets & a fishmonger in the village. We enjoyed the restaurant next to the supermarket - all very low key, which added to the charm - they do great pizzas & will do takeaway.
We also enjoyed visiting Villasimus, the nearest town, especially the artisan ice cream parlour Amore Mio!
The coastline is stunning and there are so many beautiful sandy beaches within a short driving distance of the villa.
This was a perfect holiday, Thanks to Kim & Francesco for everything.
Would love to return soon.
